I am loving each holiday season that comes along more and more ever since Jezriel and I started growing our family. One commitment I’m promising myself are family photos for each holiday season. This year I’m partnering with JCPenney to give you behind the scenes and tips to take your holiday family photos at home.
Who else is guilty of taking a ton of photos, capturing those precious moments, and end up never printing them? For me they happened to get archived away in my external hard drive somewhere. This year I’ve really put in effort to have them displayed either on our desks, dressers, and walls because Cataleya loves looking at them… as well as myself when I walk by.
This week is officially summer break for Cataleya, but she probably doesn’t grasp that yet. I know for a fact she notices it in our routine. I’m currently jotting down ideas to keep her busy and cool while being outside.
Disclosure: I partnered with The Baby Box Co. for this post but all opinions are entirely my own.
Have you heard of the Baby Box? It’s directly inspiredly the Finnish experience with baby boxes. The main idea I got from it was promoting and educating about safe sleep for families. I know as a first time mama that was a huge concern for me and the Baby Box Company just launched their program here in sunny California🌴!
We are so grateful we got these goodies in the mail! As with package or delivery that comes our way, Cataleya just can’t wait for me to open it. Funny thing every time we get a box in the mail she yells out ‘Happy Birthday’ 😂! Lets check out these goodies we recently got in.
When Cataleya was first born we bought and returned so many baby monitors, but none worked for us. Even though we constantly found ourselves needing one, we still got stuck eventually not having one 😩. A few issues we had with other monitors was the connectivity, clarity both day, especially the night vision, and poor audio.
You would think the first thing I would do in our kitchen is to organize my constant baking essentials I constantly grab for. Had my fair share of mistakes, I’ve accidentally scooped up corn starch instead of powder sugar a few times in my random zip lock bags.
The moment Cataleya started to climb over everything is when I realized it’s probably time to update her nursery. Subtle though, because I feel like she’s in this weird transition between that nursery and the toddler room if you know what I mean?
