I was brightening up our dining space so it made sense to also do the same in our living area since they are adjacent to each other. The other challenge I had with the space besides the dark finishes were the wall heights. It gave the illusion of a bigger space but when selecting decor pieces the scale could of been really off if I wasn’t careful.
We spend a ton a time at home. With Jezriel and I working from home, us cooking and baking constantly, were basically homebodies with two kids. It’s just easier.
When Cataleya was first born we bought and returned so many baby monitors, but none worked for us. Even though we constantly found ourselves needing one, we still got stuck eventually not having one 😩. A few issues we had with other monitors was the connectivity, clarity both day, especially the night vision, and poor audio.
As Christmas approaches,…I’m scrambling to put together a Christmas dinner menu and go grocery shopping later today. I thought about a simple tablescape.
You would think the first thing I would do in our kitchen is to organize my constant baking essentials I constantly grab for. Had my fair share of mistakes, I’ve accidentally scooped up corn starch instead of powder sugar a few times in my random zip lock bags.
The moment Cataleya started to climb over everything is when I realized it’s probably time to update her nursery. Subtle though, because I feel like she’s in this weird transition between that nursery and the toddler room if you know what I mean?
I’m slowly updating Cataleya’s room, we’re in the transition between a nursery and toddler room, and it feels a little tricky for me. So we’re doing the updates in stages, and the next thing to tackle was her shoes. Just as bad as us, shoes are everywhere, and I feel I still need more for her. Last week I attempted looking for some shoes, but didn’t see anything in stores! It’s going to be an online kind of shopping week.
I desperately needed to find a better solution to Cataleya headbands. I’ve embarrassedly just shoved them in a zip lock baggie for quite some time.
