The first batch I made was pretty legit, but surprisedly thought it was a tad bit too sweet. So when I made the 2nd batch that I happened to give to a few friends (sorry guys?) I put an 1/8 less of honey. To me the syrup tasted a bit watered down and the third time I stuck with the recipe. I’ve never been successful in altering a recipe ?.
I didn’t need to re-buy ingredients, since I had plenty left over. The recipe I used was the one a mommy friend shared with me. It’s from Wellness Mama and you can easily just google it, its the first one that pops up. On a side note, it was suggested to use mason jars, we opted for amber glass bottles for freshness and it lasts longer in the fridge. I bought ours on Amazon. Lastly, let me tell you, when you make this, your place will smell amazing!! ?
