Last month we headed up north back to Flagstaff and drove down to Sedona on our way back home. The kids acturally got to see the snow for the first time, it was just a little but enough they were so excited. We stayed the night in Flagstaff and spent the next day in Sedona; that place was breathtaking!
In Flagstaff we stayed at the Residence Inn as we are Bonvoy members. Its walking distance from our go to breakfast spot at the Foret Fig and tea spot Steep Leaf Lounge for the evening. You are literally in the center of everything. For lunch or dinner we liked Dark Sky Brewing Co. which is right behind the hotel and MartAnnes Burrito’s Place is just a few more blocks down.
The next morning we headed down to Sedona. Unfortantly the places we ate at were a fail, so I don’t have those recommendations. However, after talking to a few people they recommened Elote Cafe and Cress on Oak Creek at the L’Auberge de Sedona Hotel. So we will have to try those next time were there. Now one spot I hightly recommending for chai is The Chai Spot, I love Chai and this was the best I’ve ever had. Its located at the Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, this area is so picturesque everywhere you turn. Such a good area to just wonder and let the little walk it out. Our last stop as at the Chapel of the Holy Cross, its a Roman Catholic parish and they even hold mass there. Its so beautiful to see against the red rocks. Lastly, kids got to light a candle and have a moment to pray.
