A Unique Wood Watch For A Gift!

I’ve been looking for a watch to wear lately, mainly because when I pull out my phone to look what time it is, Cataleya instantly grabs for it ?. Then it’s a challenge to sneak it away from her and place it back into my back pocket. Jezriel and I try really hard to limit our use of the phone and computer when Cataleya is awake, it’s tough!

When I took a peak at JORD’s women’s watches the wood idea got me interested. 100% percent wood and an extra bonus, no chemicals are used to treat it too. JORD was kind enough to send one over to me to try out. Surprisingly it wasn’t to hard to narrow down the selection, I’m usually a pretty fast shopper anyways ?.

My eyes kept going to Zebrawood & Maple Watch from their Fieldcrest Series, so I picked that one! The grain pattern and contrast between the two woods sold me. It goes really well with my laid back outfits and those rare occasion I dress up ?.

One thing that’s also unique on their site is a mini break down of the different woods used in each collection. It even gives you a little education on the source, grain, and sustainability of that species, I appreciated the information they provide to their consumers ?.

They even got my watch sized prior to sending it, saved me a trip to the jeweler. I used the tape measure method, but I would recommend downloading their “JORD Wrist Sizer” as mine was a little snug. Honestly, the watch is pretty unisex and the extra links Jezriel can even use it, if he wants ?. However, they have an impressive men’s collection, you can chose from.

The watch came in really fast, it caught me by surprise in our mailbox. When I took it out of the packaging I was impressed of how light the watch was, given it was wood. It’s way lighter than my metal watches, not that it’s a bad thing, just never considered it.
