Last year I searched and searched for an alcohol free hand sanitizer that I could place right next to Cataleya’s changing table. That’s when I discovered Babyganics at Target for the first time, then I started to notice other moms using their mineral sunscreen.
It has been really hot here in the valley, like over 100 degrees!!! So during the weekdays I’ve been taking advantage of a little pampering at home with my Homegrown Collective box.
Another addiction of mine are Matcha lattes, especially from Starbucks. However, they can get a bit pricy, so I prefer to make them at home when I can.
Does having a water birth count as Cataleya’s first experience in the tub? Well since then she has not been in a tub, because our main bathroom is a shower.
Jez and I are in a slow transition on swapping for more organic and natural products for our home and ourselves. I find it challenging because it’s so different from what we both grew up with. I was pretty excited SoCal Naturals invited us to check out their Be The Change Event this past weekend.
Honestly, I never noticed “Earth Day” on the calendar 😁. However, since having Cateleya I’ve been a little more aware of the environment, what our planet will be like in her future. I’ve been attempting to find alternatives that are environmentally friendly and that fit our family lifestyle. It’s a slow process, creating new habits take time, because I’m familiar with routines that I was brought up with.
I’ve teamed up with Re-Play Recycled and Between You and Me for not 1 but 2 separate 🌿G I V E A W A Y S 🌿 that you can enter in, so read on for more details!
In the previous post I discussed that I decided to hold off putting oils on Cataleya and instead experiment them on Jezriel and myself first. They can be a little overwhelming when your looking at which brands to use, the individual oils, and lastly the blends.
In the past my husband Jezriel and I tried to buy products that had less harsh chemicals in it. Unfortunately, going cold turkey isn’t the way to go and it only lasted a few months. It was so much easier going back to what we’re use to because they were much more easily accessible.
