New York Trip

This past May our family headed to the east coast for the first time to visit our close friends and to be complete tourists.

We had a couple hiccups with us getting all sick, but we trucked it though and still made it the best experience ever. In all honestly, we spend our first and second day finding an urgent care and pharmacies.

We stayed in Brooklyn at the 1 Hotel near the Brooklyn Bridge. I chose this hotel because I wanted to experience a LEED certified Boutique Hotel; I have a thing with hotels. They actually just opened one here in West Holleywood that I wouldn’t mind checking our for a little staycation.

With every trip a make a soft itinerary for us, we didn’t get to see everything since we were battling some cold. But that’s just another reason for use to come back. We enjoyed the amazing New York Pizza and the Eataly man I can’t wait to go back, seen the highline, the Washington Arch and the mind blowing Central Station.

Our friends took us through the metro train, in all honestly I’d be a little nervous to go without them. The tall city buildings in every direction were surreal, but the passing the neighborhoods were a beauty. I could only image how beauty the fall is.

NY gave me a much more appreciation on home values and space compared to California. You know it was so interesting to see another cities downtown across the water, but it was beautiful to see the city lights from Brooklyn.

What do you love about New York? Or would you ever consider visiting with kids?
