Growing Our Library of BabyLit Books

I have yet to buy more shelves for Cataleya’s books ?. It looks like I’m starting to hoard them. Recently, BabyLit sent us a few books ? to add to her collection. I chose A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Secret Garden and Alice in Wonderland, I want all of them!

I actually purchased the Romeo and Juliet book to add into Cataleya’s Godmother’s baby shower gift that you can read about it here.

The illustrations are beautiful, colorful and creative yet very simple, thats what caught me eye. They match perfectly with the words behind them. These aren’t your typical book with tons of words just a couple quotes of the story is all in the illustrations.

I myself really enjoyed The Secret Garden and learned a few new flowers ???. It had me want to go buy some fresh blooms for the house. Cataleya’s just loves smelling and touching flowers ?.

BabyLit books are the perfect square shape for little hands. I really appreciate the board books, because that means no flimsy pages!  When Cataleya’s turned the pages they are durable enough even when she slides them on the ground.

Lastly, of course I can always appreciate a company that’s conscious of the environment. Now BabyLit doesn’t just sell books, they have a variety of items like toto’s, games, puzzles etc. a little something for everyone. They happen to be having a bundle sale on GroupOn, take a look here or on there Facebook Page.

  1. <3 The secret garden sounds lovely! 😀 It's great to encourage reading at an early age. Hope that little Cataleya grows up with a love of reading 🙂

  2. I was like you when my daughter was a baby, I collected and collected books for her library then she graduated into bigger kids books and now at 7, she is into novels for her age which I also collect for her ever growing library. I’m starting to collect Nancy Drew books for her for when she is big enough to read them.
